Kyle Chandler May the Hunt in Kathryn Bigelow’s Untitled Bin Laden Movie

Actor Kyle Chandler was mentioned to join the cast of the untitled Bin Laden film to be directed by Kathryn Bigelow, according to Deadline.

The drama will be about the Navy SEAL Team long quest to capture the notorious terrorist Osama Bin Laden. The hunt ended with the fatal shooting of the Al-Qaeda leader in Pakistan.

Although there is no official confirmation, Deadline reported Chandler would play a CIA agent.

Chandler recently appeared in J.J. Abrams-directed “Super 8” and will be appearing in the upcoming film “Broken City” and “Argo.” He was best known for his role in the television series “Friday Night Lights.”

The film stars Jason Clarke, Joel Edgerton, Chris Pratt, Jessica Chastain, Mark Strong and Edgar Ramirez. Sony Pictures scheduled a release date for December 19.
