Jason Statham is seeking out revenge…..again.

Lionsgate acquired the United States and United Kingdom distribution rights to IM Global’s action film “Hummingbird.”

Statham will play a veteran who has a tragic past so he assumes the identity of a wealthy man in London. He discovers his girlfriend was murdered, so he ends up hunting down these murderers.

Lionsgate released several Statham’s films including “The Bank Job,” “Transporter 3,” and the “Crank” films. The studio will also present Statham’s “Safe” in theaters on April 27.

The film production for “Hummingbird” will begin on Monday in London.
