After the release of four different teaser trailers, Walt Disney Studios and Pixar Animation Studios released a couple of concept artworks of the upcoming animated prequel “Monsters University.”

Here is a very brief synopsis:

Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. “Monsters University” unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends.

Billy Crystal and John Goodman are reprising their respective roles as Mike and Sully, respectively. It has been nearly 12 years since the theatrical debut of “Monsters, Inc.”

The rest of the voice cast will also include Steve Buscemi, Dave Foley, Julia Sweeney, Joel Murray and Peter Sohn.

“Monsters University” will be released in theaters on June 21st next year.
