Edward James Olmos May Play Villain in ‘Two Guns’

It feels good to be the bad guy.

After playing the serial killer Professor James Gellar on Showtime’s “Dexter,” it looks like actor Edward James Olmos wants to continue playing a villain.

Olmos is in negotiations to play Papi Greco, a Mexican druglord who confronts the protagonists of “2 Guns.”

The film is about a DEA agent and an undercover naval intelligence officer who ended up investigating each from a set up by the mob.

Olmos would join the crime action film that also stars Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington.

“2 Guns” will be directed by Baltasar Kormakur (“Contraband”) and from a script written by Blake Masters (“Brotherhood,” “Law & Order: LA”). The story is based off a graphic novel by Steven Grant.
