Warner Brothers Hires ‘Gangster Squad’ Scribe Will Beall for ‘Justice League’ Movie

With “The Avengers” causing a lot of damage at the box office, a “Justice League” movie is quietly in the works.

Variety reported that Warner Brothers Pictures recruited “Gangster Squad” scriptwriter Will Beall to pen a script for the “Justice League” movie.

The writer wrote the upcoming crime drama “Gangster Squad,” which stars Ryan Gosling, Sean Penn and Emma Stone. He is also writing the remake of “Logan’s Run” and “Lethal Weapon 5.”

DC heroes will have a good setup with the upcoming Batman movie “The Dark Knight Rises” this summer and Superman’s “Man of Steel” next year. “Green Lantern” was released last summer with Ryan Reynolds with possible sequels in mind.

And there are reports on possible projects for “The Flash,” “Wonder Woman” and “Aquaman” in the future.

So what do you guys think of this DC versus Marvel showdown?
