Dan Aykroyd New Writing Staff for ‘Ghostbusters 3’

There’s something strange in the neighborhood, who ya gonna call? New writers!

During a fan autograph session in Amherst, New York, actor Dan Aykroyd mentioned to a local news station that “Ghostbusters 3” is moving ahead with new writers.

“We’ve got a new writing staff working on it now,” said Aykroyd to the news station. “It’s got to be perfect. That’s the whole thing. There’s no point in doing it unless it’s perfect. So that’s what we’re up to now.”

The news station did not identify the new writers, but on IMDB it listed the writing team of Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky (“Bad Teacher,” “The Office”) as the previous writers.

The third film of the franchise will introduce a new team of Ghostbusters under the tutelage of the original founders.
