Two New Posters for ‘The Campaign’

Warner Brothers Pictures released two new posters for Jay Roach’s comedy “The Campaign.”

The film stars Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis as opposing political opponents in the upcoming Congressional election in North Carolina.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis star as rival North Carolina congressional candidates out to bury each other in this mud-slinging, back-stabbing, home-wrecking comedy from “Meet the Fockers” director Jay Roach, that takes today’s political circus to the next level. Because even when you think campaign ethics have hit rock bottom, there’s always room to dig a whole lot deeper.

“The Campaign” also stars Jason Sudeikis, Dylan McDermott and Katherine LaNasa, with John Lithgow, Dan Aykroyd and Brian Cox. Directed by Jay Roach and written by Chris Henchy & Shawn Harwell, from a story by Adam McKay & Chris Henchy & Shawn Harwell, the film was produced by Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Jay Roach and Zach Galifianakis. Amy Sayres, Jon Poll and Chris Henchy served as executive producers.

“The Campaign” will be in theaters on August 10.
