Let’s do the shuffle for Tom Cruise’s “One Shot” and Brad Pitt’s “World War Z.” And out of nowhere, there will be a new “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount’s “One Shot” theater release date was moved to December 21 later this year. It was originally slated for February next year.

And with Paramount’s “World War Z,” there will be a zombie summer as it is now scheduled for release on June 21st next year. It was originally scheduled for December 21st, which now “One Shot” takes its place.

The most surprising news is that Paramount’s Nickelodeon label will revive the favorite ass-kicking turtles with a new “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” film.

Some details were revealed including that Jonathan Liebesman (Battle: Los Angeles) will direct the $100 million CGI/live-action movie and with Michael Bay (“Transformers” series) producing the project. Expect a lot of explosions and fun.

Paramount’s vice chairman Rob Moore explained the move due to the success of another Tom Cruise movie “Mission: Impossible—Ghost Protocol” during the end of last year. That film grossed nearly $700 million worldwide at the theater box office.

“One Shot” is based on author Lee Child’s best-selling novel of the same title. It is about an investigator looking into a case of a former military sniper who killed several people.

“World War Z” is based on author Max Brooks’s novel about a U.N. employee trying to stop a zombie outbreak in the world.
