Mark Twain’s Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer will be back for another adventure—but not in the traditional way.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount will create a re-imagined updated story for Twain’s literary classic. The focus of the film will be on the pair as adults and even will have supernatural twists in their adventure.

The title is currently shortened to be called “Huck.”

The project will be produced by Peter Chernin and Dylan Clark (“Rise of the Planet of the Apes”) and Matt Lopez.

In the 1876 Mark Twain’s novel, it follows two all-American teenagers on certain adventures.

Several films and television adaptations were made from Twain’s material with the 1995’s “Tom and Huck” as the latest adaptation that starred Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Brad Renfro. There is a Jo Kastner-directed film “Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn” due out next year that will star Jake T. Austin and Joel Courtney.
