Since news of Dinobots late last year from a leaked script, “Transformers 4” producers are attempting to control the wild rumors on the Internet.Even a plot synopsis released by the Michigan Film Office earlier this month (and quickly removed), may suggest Dinobots or even Unicron. Latino-Review caught up with “Transformers 4” producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura at the Hollywood premiere of “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” this week.

The chance of getting a straight answer from the producer is just about the same as discovering dinosaur bones in your backyard.

Latino-Review gave him a chance to set the record straight and here is what he said to me:

“There [are] always a lot of rumors. We don’t talk about the movie. We want audiences to see it for the first time and not know that much about it.”

So the producer tried to dodge the question, but you can take the quote as neither confirmation nor denial over the Dinobots.

And I gave him the chance to tell us for sure who’s in the next Transformers movie. He laughed and responded, “Mark Wahlberg.”
