Did you stay for the after-credits sequence at the end of “Paranormal Activity 3”? If so, you might’ve noticed that the series was eluding to a new, intriguing chapter in the franchise’s saga.

Many people incorrectly assumed that the series was moving to Mexico, but instead it’s shifting gears to Oxnard, California. The story will center on a Mexican-American family, where a teenage boy finds himself becoming possessed. Some of what is shown here looks like they’re trying to bring in an almost “Chronicle” angle to the story- with the main character using his powers to fend off attackers.
