Trailer for Wes Anderson’s ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’

thegrandbudapesthotelI actually began watching this one without knowing a thing about it. The second it started, I thought, “This looks like a Wes Anderson movie.” And I was right. The filmmaker definitely has a signature style, and if you’ve been a fan of his previous works- like “Moonrise Kingdom,” “The Royal Tenenbaum’s” and “Fantastic Mr. Fox”- then his next film looks like it will be right up your alley.

“The Grand Budapest Hotel” seems to weave a coming-of-age tale into a typically dry, whimsical, off-the-wall Wes Anderson story. It’s told through the eyes of a young man taken under the wing of a hotel manager (Ralph Fiennes). The film boasts an all star cast of actors both new and familiar to Anderson’s body of work- Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Jude Law, Tilda Swinton, Harvey Keitel, Saoirse Ronan, and more.

The Fox Searchlight feature will hit theaters on March 7, 2014.
