CinemaCon 2014: Teaser Trailer Revealed for ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’

fiftyshadesofgreyLadies, you will not be disappointed.

Universal Pictures unveiled the teaser trailer for the anticipated “Fifty Shades of Grey” today to CinemaCon attendees in Las Vegas. The trailer showed a softer romantic side with a tint of wildness—not exactly a quasi-pornographic controversial film that some will make it out to be.

Latino-Review was in attendance to witness the teaser trailer.

The opening of the trailer is very similar to E.L James’ novel with Anastasia “Ana” Steele walking into Christian Grey’s office to conduct and interview. And in a Gatsby-like manner, Mr. Grey woos Ana with power suits, luxurious rooms and a helicopter. Most of the trailer shows the love connection between Ana and Grey. There was only a brief glimpse of having sex and some sex toys, but nothing crazy.

The casting was deeply debated amongst the book’s fans last year as the studio settled with Dakota Johnson and model-turned actor Jamie Dornan. Johnson looks good as a brunette and plays the innocent girl who has no idea what she is getting into. Dornan seems to portray a cool, mature and attractive Mr. Grey in the trailer. And most importantly, there does seem to be chemistry between these two actors.

If the movie is as good as its trailer, then this will definitely be the movie on Valentine’s Day next year.

“Fifty Shades of Grey” will be released on February 13th, 2015.
