Rebecca and Andy are locked up in holding. Eric is cornered inside a police precinct evidence room. Ben is demanding money for the list of sleeper cells that belong to Bin Khalid’s men. Aisha has made a phone call that may create an alliance with one of Isaac’s rivals against Isaac. Nilaa may or may not be aiding the same terrorists…

In other words, the typical type of setting inthe world of 24.

Back in the evidence room, Eric is able to win the trust of one of the officers he took hostage. In return, the officer assists Eric in blowing through one of the walls and nearly escaping the precinct before being completely surrounded. As Eric holds a gun to the officer’s head, the police chief orders his men to drop their weapons. He tells Eric that he has Rebecca Ingram from CTU on the line and she has explained the entire situation. Rebecca informs Eric over the phone that she has cleared Keith Mullins and he believes they need to go forward with capturing Ben before he sells the list. Meanwhile, Rebecca has reason to believe that Nilaa may have significant information regarding the day’s potential attack and wants her brought in for questioning. Rebecca relays that information to her husband John, as he helplessly watches Nilaa escorted into a room on the premises.

Eric makes contact with Nicole, letting her know he is okay and that everything will be over soon. Nicole is relieved, but then relays to Eric that she believes Aisha, Isaac’s girlfriend, may be planing something behind his back. Eric tells Anna to get in touch with CTU and they can look into any phone calls she may have made. With that discussion behind him, Eric arrives at the meeting area with Keith, Thomas Locke and the other CTU operatives to prepare for their operation to capture Ben and the list.

At the high school, Amira and David are attempting to conceal the body of Drew. After avoiding detection by a visiting student, Amira and David turn to realize that Drew is gone. Drew regained consciousness enough to leave the school and make his way to the soccer field before collapsing once again. Before Amira and David are able to move him, people take notice. Amira plays the innocent bystander, not knowing what occurred. An ambulance is eventually called and Drew is loaded into it. David is scared by all this, but Amira demands he go back and complete his part of the mission while Amira will finish off Drew at the hospital. She tells the paramedics she is Drew’s girlfriend and is allowed to ride in the back of the ambulance.

Rebecca meets with John and informs him of the information she came across regarding Nilaa. John is shocked but allows Rebecca to interrogate Nilaa in the room. Nilaa, of course, is angered by what Rebecca presents to her. After her meeting with Nilaa, Rebecca is confronted by John’s father Henry, who demands to know what is happening and how it will effect his son’s campaign. Meanwhile, with the help of Andy, Mariana Stiles is able to access the call logs and sends to Anna the call of Aisha informing Isaac’s rival. However, before she can do anything, Aisha interrupts her and takes her cell phone from her.

As the gala continues with John being the main focus, Rebecca confronts Nilaa with camera footage of her just before accessing the computer containing the names of the Rangers. Nilaa denies it, stating she was never there and states the image is not her. On the other side of the compound, Henry meets with his brother-in-law Luis. Luis informs Henry that the one camera shot of Nilaa has been delivered to CTU and Rebecca and that there is no other angle to disprove it. Henry is relieved that his leak has been covered, but states he regrets having to give up the names of the Rangers and Nilaa. Luis reminds him it was either that or destroy his son’s campaign.

Just like the good ol’ days of Jack Bauer, Tony Almeida and Nina Myers, this season has shown its first big twist. John’s dad Henry, not Nilaa, seems to be the traitor; the man responsible for the leak of the names of the Rangers. However, to think this is it would be ridiculous. Anyone who knows 24 knows that this is just the first of more twists to come in this complex, “Terrorist vs Counterterrorist” tradition.

Eric, secretly followed by Thomas, makes contact with Ben aboard a transit train. Ben explains to Eric that he simply wanted to get enough money to escape his problems and head north. The two get off at the next stop, go to a corner in the building and begin to make the exchange when Thomas notices four potential hostiles approaching them; Bin Khalid’s men. All hell breaks loose in the train station as bullets go flying and Ben makes a run for it down the stairs and into train arrivals. Ben is eventually wounded and the remaining two hostiles takes the USB drive and make a break for it. Eric chases them down the train tunnels and back up onto the city streets before he is struck by a passing car. Unable to pull himself together fast enough, Eric loses visual of the terrorists. Bin Khalid’s men make their way into a van and drive off to safety, with the USB drive containing the sleeper cells information in their possession…

And the clock ticks down to 3:00pm.
