Avengers: Infinity War Gets A So-Bad-It’s-Good Retro Trailer

We’re spoiled. Growing up, I remember whenever a comic book movie came out — no matter how much I looked forward to one of them — it was almost guaranteed to be awful. The sets would be cheap-looking, the costumes pulled out of the comic books (though in the worst way possible), and the story a pitiful excuse for our heroes to suit up.

And yet, when I actually watched the movies, I spent too much time convincing myself that they were awesome. I don’t have to do that anymore, and neither do you! Because we live in such a golden age of superhero films, we’re literally given almost the best interpretations possible for our heroes, especially in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Everything in that universe is culminating to the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War, and unless you’ve purposely been avoiding the marketing for fear of getting spoiled, chances are you’ve already seen the first trailer. As expected, the film looks topnotch and expensive.

However, if you find yourself nostalgia for the s***ty films of old, then the YouTube channel Darth Blender has you covered. They’ve put together an Infinity War retro trailer, pulling in clips from old comic book movies — as well as old non-comic book movies — for an ultimate campfest.

What do you think of the trailer? Are you nostalgia to revisit these old, soulless cheap movies of prior decades? Let us know down below!
