Without a doubt, Tom Holland is an excellent Spider-Man, and to me, he may very well play the strongest version of the character we’ve seen on the big screen so far. More than any other actor, Holland balances the Peter Parker side and Spidey side unbelievably well. However, while Holland may be a fantastic actor, he still has quite the problem of revealing a bit too much during interviews.
There have been a few occasions where he’s spilled the beans on some secrets — most recently, he shared the idea that Marvel Studios was looking to revive the Marvel One-Shots. Immediately, he followed that comment with “Kevin Feige’s probably going to be furious.” In short, the dude doesn’t know how to keep a secret. It seems the film producers now know that, and have taken preemptive action to make sure he doesn’t inadvertently reveal any big details about next year’s big opus, Avengers: Infinity War.
Speaking with the Toronto Sun, Holland joked about not knowing what the hell is going on in the flick.
“I don’t know anything about it or what it’s about. I know who the villain is, but that’s it. They don’t let me read anything because I’m so bad at keeping secrets.”
He’s not kidding there, but we doubt that rule is restricted to him. We’re sure they’re keeping a tight lid on all the actors. It’s usually difficult enough to keep secrets with a handful of big actors, but with Infinity War, they’re set to deal with well over 30 superheroes (we’ve lost count at this point). They’re definitely taking every precaution imaginable to make sure no big surprises are leaked until then.
We have just over 10 months until we see all the Avengers come together.
