Avengers Star Mark Ruffalo Teases ‘Something Big’

Earlier today, you may have noticed the mammoth piece that Vanity Fair dropped. It was an extensive (and must-read) retrospective on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it was all in celebration and anticipation of next year’s Avengers: Infinity War.

It’s on the heels of this that actor Mark Ruffalo (who is notoriously loose-lipped about all things Marvel) took to Twitter to tease “something big.” Check out the actor’s tweet below.

But what in the world can this “big” thing be that Ruffalo is teasing? Of course, many could point to the fact that it has to do with some of his non-Marvel-related projects, but as stated above, today’s been a Marvel-heavy one with that Vanity Fair piece, so it would make sense if he was actually referring to something in that vein.

What’s the thing fans have been asking for the most for the past month or so? That’s the Avengers: Infinity War trailer. But would they drop a teaser this early? If we look back at the more recent Black Panther, we can see that they released that first teaser back in June — a full eight months before the film is slated to hit. Avengers: Infinity War, in contrast, is only over five months away, and with Star Wars: The Last Jedi set to hit theaters soon, we know Disney would be foolish to waste that opportunity to give the film free advertising to the masses.

This falls in line with recent reports that state the film’s first teaser would hit in the first week of December, which means that either this week or next week, we could very well have our first official taste of Avengers: Infinity War!
