You can now mark off one more notch on Marvel’s belt. With Thor: Ragnarok now in the rear view mirror, Marvel Studios can now focus their marketing efforts on the next superhero film, Black Panther.

Thus far, we’ve already seen a teaser and a trailer for the Wakanda-set standalone film, and now the leading cast of the film have taken to Twitter to show off their respective character posters.

Very much in keeping with all the marketing so far for the film, these posters are all incredibly sleek, shiny, and badass. Most importantly, these posters give us an idea of the characters, their mindset, and their role in the film. One look at Andy Serkis’ poster, and it’s very clear what his role is here.

Plus, Chadwick Boseman’s own poster speaks volumes. He’s a powerful man, but he has the look of someone who’s been burdened with a lot, and we can only imagine that this film will tackle that very burden.
