Mercurial recording artist Kanye West has been in the spotlight a lot lately, and it hasn’t been in an entirely positive light. Now, capping off a week of headlines about him, West has cancelled the rest of his current tour.
This follows the cancellation of a date in Los Angeles that he had for last night, which- in itself- was a make-up date for a show he cut short after 30 minutes earlier this month. He also cut short a show he had two nights ago in Sacramento.
In a statement released to E! News, West’s reps would only say, “The remaining dates on the Saint Pablo Tour have been canceled. Tickets will be fully refunded at point of purchase.”
This caps off a strange week where West revealed to a packed arena that he didn’t vote, declared who he would have voted for, called out friends Jay-Z and Beyonce, and announced he’d be running for President in 2020.
West’s song “Fade” currently holds the #67 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, and is his sole entry on the list of the hottest songs in the country.
