Check Out The New ‘NICE GUYS’ 70s-Inspired Retro Trailer!

Shane Black, the king of the black comedy (no pun intended), is back at it again. THE NICE GUYS marks the director’s first theatrically-released film since 2013’s IRON MAN, and for those who loved his directorial debut, KISS KISS BANG BANG, this looks like one to see.

Warner Bros. has just released a spanking new trailer, and they certainly seem to be having fun with it, as it’s come in the form of a unique, 1970s-inspired retro trailer, complete with cheesy voice-over and VHS noise. And just like every trailer in the 1970s, you can expect to walk away knowing absolutely nothing about theplot of the film, but still wanting a lot more

Check out the trailer below!

“The Nice Guys” takes place in 1970s Los Angeles, when down-on-his-luck private eye Holland March (Gosling) and hired enforcer Jackson Healy (Crowe) must work together to solve the case of a missing girl and the seemingly unrelated death of a porn star. During their investigation, they uncover a shocking conspiracy that reaches up to the highest circles of power.”

THE NICE GUYS hits theaters on May 20, 2016.
