“Key and Peele” fans, it’s time to eat your heart out. While the beloved, yet short-livedsketch series has just ended, the duo that is Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele are reuniting for their first feature film, “Keanu.”

The film follows two friends as they climb into the depths of the criminal underworld in search of their adorable lost kitten, Keanu. There are a lot of folks out there who consider themselves animal lovers, but watching the trailer, it really begs the question, just how far will you go to rescue your pet?

In addition to Key and Peele, the film also stars Tiffany Haddish, Method Man, Jason Mitchell, Luis Guzman, Nia Long, and Will Forte. 

Based on the trailer alone, I’d say this movie looks to be pretty solid. Key and Peele are amazing as usual, and it almost never got old seeing all the explosions going off around this adorable little kitten, and I’m sure they’ll play that up for the audience. Admittedly a piece of me is worried they’ll go “John Wick” with this one and kill off the cat, but then I remind myself that it’s a comedy, and people would never forgive the film if they did that.
