It’s very possible that CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR holds the record for most concept art shown for a film. Ever since the movie was announced, it seems like we have a new batch every month. We’re about a month from the film’s release, and that trend continues.
So, if you haven’t had your fill of concept art, then feast away!
“CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron†left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.”
One aspect I think is interesting is that it seems to hint at the idea that Falcon is the one to take down War Machine. So all those shots of Rhodes getting shot down i the trailer may have been due to the Falcon. This is especially surprising, as I’m sure if any fans had taken a guess at who could’ve taken down War Machine, it would not have been Falcon.
What do you think of the concept art? Do you think it reveals the fact that Falcon is the one to take down War Machine, or is this just misleading? Let us know your thoughts down below!
CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR hits U.S. theaters on May 6, 2016.
