Christoph Waltz may return to the Bond films as Ernst Stavro Blofeld—only if Daniel Craig returns as James Bond.

That’s what the British tabloids are saying for now.

An unidentified source told Britain’s Daily Star that “Christoph could make a brilliant ongoing man for Bond to battle like in the old days…..but the important clincher of it is that Blofeld can only work with Daniel back in the role to keep continuity.”

Another tabloid paper The Mirror claimed Waltz is a no-go if Craig doesn’t return as James Bond.

For now, Craig is under contract for one more film. He had given interviews last year that he may be growing tired of playing the iconic spy character and is ready to move on.
