CinemaCon 2015: Exclusive Interview with Genndy Tartakovsky for ‘Hotel Transylvania 2’

Glad that Vlad is Back

The whole voice cast of the classic monsters returns in the animated film “Hotel Transylvania 2.”

Director Genndy Tartakovsky was present earlier this week at Sony’s presentation at CinamaCon 2015. He presented the first look towards the animated sequel to the exhibitor audiences.

The animated sequel revealed more plot details with the lives being different after Johnathan and Mavis marrying. Two new characters to be revealed being Vlad’s grandchild and his father (voiced by Mel Brooks).

The voice cast includes Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Kevin James, Steve Buscemi, David Spade, Fran Drescher, Chris Kattan and Keegan-Michael Key.

Before the presentation, Latino-Review was granted an exclusive one-on-one interview with Tartakovsky. We covered a lot of topics between the voice casting, plotline and animation. He also discussed a bit about leaving the “Popeye” project, but it is still in development.

“Hotel Transylvania 2” will be in theaters on September 25.
