CinemaCon 2016: Benedict Cumberbatch to Voice Title Role of ‘THE GRINCH’ and First Look Image

It’s been sixteen years since the Grinch appeared on the big screen with Jim Carrey’s live-action portrayal.

Illumination Entertainment announced a new animated version of THE GRINCH set to be released November 10, 2017.

And Benedict Cumberbatch will be voicing the title character.

No new other details were revealed about the story plot of this movie. For the audiences at CinemaCon 2016, the studio showed a test video footage of the many faces of the Grinch and various styles of walk.

It will be directed Pete Candeland and Yarrow Cheney.
