Could An Avengers: Endgame Easter Egg Be Hinting At A Rumored Future Character? [SPOILERS]

By now you may well have seen Avengers: Endgame and if you haven’t you may well be in the minority with those latest box office figures. Whilst this article doesn’t spoil anything big from the movie, it does reference a specific Easter egg and moment from Endgame, so be warned!

..
.
There was a moment in the movie where you’ll remember Cap watching Peggy through a window back in 1970 and whilst I heard what she said, at the time I never placed it as an Easter egg. But perhaps it could be a hint of someone to come?

Peggy talks about an agent called Braddock who “hasn’t checked it”, now while it’s a common name it is also the name of a certain Captain Britain otherwise known as Brian Braddock. Now normally I’d chalk this up as nothing of note, but I also remember writing a rumor for LRM that Captain Britain could be coming to the MCU somewhere down the line.

It may well be a stretch, but I thought it interesting enough to share after noticing the theory on CBM. I must admit, I never cared much for the comic book version of Captain Britain, but at the same time I felt the same about Captain America and Marvel nailed that character. I’d genuinely love to see what Captain Britain would look like in the MCU if he ever comes and as a fellow Brit myself, it would be our first Avenger other than Vision, who isn’t actually British at all.

Do you think this is a possible Easter egg for the future, do you even care about Captain Britain anyway? Sound off in the usual spot below
