Deadpool 2: New Set Photos Show Off Cable & Domino In Full Costume

Over the past couple of weeks, Deadpool 2 stars Ryan Reynolds, Zazie Beetz, and Josh Brolin showing off their interpretations of the characters Domino and Josh Brolin for the first time. Overall, the response has been positive, though there have been some criticisms regarding Zazie Beetz’s Domino, and how she doesn’t resemble the comic book Domino enough to sate hardcore fans.

Regardless of what anything thinks, however, this is the look they’ll be going for. Right now, they are knee deep in production, and the folks over at JustJared manage to snap more than a handful of pics. In these pics we can see Zazie Beetz as Domino, Josh Brolin as Cable, and a stuntman also playing Cable.

Sadly, there is very little context to go off of in these pics. All we can really see is that it takes place on the street. As expected, Brolin’s mechanical arm is executed by a green screened arm, and the dude is rocking the look almost as well as his stunt double. We also have our best look at Zazie Beetz’s Domino yet, with her taking a leisurely stroll down the street with her iPhone in hand.

The shots here take place on the streets of Vancouver, Canada, and the only other real detail we seem to have is that it doesn’t actually contain Deadpool in it. So what does this mean for the story? Well, granted that we have absolutely zero details regarding the film itself, it’s impossible to say, but it’s perhaps just an indication that there will be some action set piece without Deadpool (as the presence of a stuntman would seem to indicate a potential stunt).
