Earlier today, audiences were treated to quite the unconventional Deadpool 2 trailer. Rather than just have a minute or so of footage — or even just 15 to 30 seconds of footage, they went full viral marketing once again with Deadpool giving his best Bob Ross impression.

Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld took that idea and ran with it in a new sketch, which he posted to Twitter. Check it out below!

This morning’s trailer was nothing less than a stroke of genius, and we can’t wait to see what other sort of memes and art come from fans. In one teaser, the Deadpool 2 marketing has managed to set the tone, pretty much proving that they’re ready to trounce the marketing campaign they themselves trailblazed for the first film.

The official “synopsis” for Deadpool 2 is below:

“After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.”

Draw your best Deadpool/Bob Ross drawings and post them below.

Deadpool 2 hits theaters on June 1, 2018.

I can already tell I’m going to be exhausted with Deadpools marketing by the time the movie comes out.
