Diesel Reveals How Much Gas ‘Fast & Furious’ Has Left In Tank, & Talks Directors

With the way Furious 7 ended, you wouldn’t be wrong in assuming that the series might be coming to an end. Yes, it was a fitting tribute to Paul Walker, but it was also a strong way to wrap up what’s been a surprisingly fruitful series. Yet buzz has persisted surrounding an eighth entry in the franchise. Of late, there’s been talk of who might direct it- since Justin Lin has moved on and James Wan now has a very full slate. 

Vin Diesel has taken to his Facebook to set the record straight on not only who’s been offered the director’s chair, but also how many more Fast & Furious films Universal is expecting from him:

So there you have it. No one has been offered the director’s seat yet, and there’s apparently a whole other trilogy of Fast & Furious films coming from Diesel and his producing partner, Neal H. Moritz.
