The undead keeps coming back.
Double Take (2T) is reviving the 1968’s “Night of the Living Dead” storyline with three new comics.
The first two comics of the series called “Rise” and “Z-Men” are written by Jeff McComsey. The third comic “Home” is written by Peter Aquero.
“Rise” storyline will follow the siblings Barbara and Johnny who is trying to survive beyond the night at the abandoned farmhouse. The artists will include Kurt Tiede, Frderica Manfredi and Vladimir Popov. The release date is set for June and a print price of $2.50.
“Home” follows a farm family during the zombie apocalypse in western Pennsylvania. After the family gathers for a quiet Sunday dinner, Paul Foster takes his wife and two young children to town, which falls into zombie chaos while they left one daughter and her boyfriend to fend for themselves back home. The artists include Julian Rowe, Monica Catalano and Javier Mena. It has a June release date.
And finally “Z-Men” has President Lyndon B. Johnson ordering his Secret Service to investigate mass murders or zombie activities in the countryside of Pennsylvania. Agents Stuart and Clancy arrive to uncover the zombie apocalypse and try to capture a zombie—dead, alive or definitely undead.
