Elseworlds Extended Trailer Is Chock-Full Of Fan Service-y Goodness

Who here is ready for some ridiculous, silly as shit crossover that creates new multiverse-altering stakes our heroes have to take on? This guy is. Sure, my history with the CW DC Arrowverse shows has been rocky at best. I’m what you call a fairweather fan — I try to be around for the good stuff, but when things get a bit too weird or stupid for my taste, I drop it.

But even I’m pretty jazzed to see what this year’s epic three-episode crossover event known as Elseworlds will do for us. Already on the list of things that will happen are: Batwoman showing up, Superman donning a black suit, and Barry and Oliver switching lives. That seems enough to at least get me interested in what it has to offer, even if it does go off into the ridiculous (I expect nothing less).

Now, The CW has released a brand-new extended trailer for the crossover, and it definitely brings the goods. After giving us quick, 20-second glimpses for far too long, we finally have something a bit of meat to it. In it, we see the setup for the premise, complete with a ripped Barry Allen (or wait…Oliver Queen?). The journey, of course, takes them to Gotham City to see Batwoman, along with one big reveal: That some villain is doing to this Earth what he did to The Flash’s Earth-90.

Yeah, sure, I’ll bite. Consider me up for tuning in for this crossover. But what about you? Will you be joining in the fun? Let us know down below!

Elseworlds starts on Sunday, December 9 on The CW.
