It was recently announced that DOPE director Rick Famuyiwa would be taking the helm on DC's THE FLASH movie. This came a few weeks after it became known that director Seth Graham-Smith had walked off of the project due to creative differences with Warner Bros. It looks like Famuyiwa wants to hit the ground running, because he's in London right now- where Zack Snyder is currently filming THE FLASH precursor JUSTICE LEAGUE.
The director posted a picture last night that shows him standing alongside not only his star, Ezra Miller, but also with with Ray Fisher- who's playing CYBORG in the DCEU.
Famuyiwa being out on the town with Miller and Fisher fuels some of the rumors lately that their two characters are going to be rather chummy in these next few movies. They were introduced, as individuals, in BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, but will apparently hit it off when they actually meet on screen. It's expected that Cyborg could very well pop up and play a role in THE FLASH. The characters can bond over the fact that they weren't born with their abilities. They're a couple of average Joes who became endowed with special powers and now must fight alongside demigods like Superman and Wonder Woman.
THE FLASH will race into a theater near you on March 16, 2018.
