The CW DC shows are coming to an end, Game of Thrones is late this year, Agents won't last too much longer, and even Homeland and Black Sails are more than half way through. So what the heck do we watch until then? I have an answer for you my friends, and it is Fargo.
The first two seasons were brilliant, and the third promises to be just as good with a spectacular cast, but more on that below because we just got not one, not two, but three new teaser trailers that show some of the characters in action! Take a looksee.
In Fargo Season 3, Ewan McGreggor will be playing two brothers that we first assumed were twins, but the appear to be siblings with a slight age difference. In this first promo, we see one of the Stussy brothers licking a stamp which looks like it has an oldschool Stingray car on it.
The second one really shows off the dark humor I love about Fargo, as a officer, whom I believe is Carrie Coon, can't quite make it in an automated door due to the floor sensor panel malfunctioning. Yet, as soon as she walks away, a piece of paper floats down and the door opens easily.
Finally, we have the same cop, during a major snow storm, drive up to what appears to be an HVAC unit, out in the middle of nowhere.
This is exactly the dark mystery I love about Fargo, and I am counting down every hour for both this and Better Call Saul. We should have an interesting summer, albeit without many superhero shows, that will get us through to the fall.
Fargo will star Ewan McGreggor as the Stussy brothers, Carrie Coon as Gloria Burgle, Scoot McNairy as Maurice LeFay, Karin Soni (Dopinder!!) as Dr. Homer Gilrut, Jim Gaffigan as Donny Mashman, Mary Elizebeth Winstead as Nikke Swango, and a load of other credible actors.
What do you guys think? I think Season 2 of Fargo will be hard to beat, but with the cast they are putting together for this one, we may be in for a huge surprise.
The season premieres April 19, 2017.
