Vin Diesel took to Facebook to announce two big massive returning talents to the Fast & Furious franchise for the final two installments. While on the set for Fast & Furious 9, actor Vin Diesel said:

“You wanted 9 and 10 to be incredible? We’ve heard your concerns about the saga and where it needs to arrive to in its final chapters.”

So who will be returning? None other than the man who resurrected the franchise from obscurity, director Justin Lin. But he isn’t the only one coming back. Also returning is actress Jordana Brewster, who plays Dom’s sister and Brian’s wife, Mia. Needless to say, it sounds like Fast & Furious 9 and 10 will be a grand reunion for the fans of the franchise.

As far as we know, these last two films will be the ones to close the book on the franchise that has somehow lasted over 15 years.

Of course, this isn’t all there is left of the franchise. While Fast & Furious 9 is set to hit theaters in 2020, we’ll also be getting a spinoff for characters Hobbs and Shaw, played by Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, respectively. No word yet on those two will appear in these last two Fast films, but considering they were the absolute best parts of Fate of the Furious, they damn well better.

Are you excited to see Justin Lin and Jordana Brewster return to Fast & Furious? Let us know down below!

I don’t know why they haven’t brought back the other guy who was in the original team on The Fast and the Furious. Maybe he’s like on drugs and stuff now.
