Christopher Nolan’s next film, Interstellar, is almost upon us. Until now, all we’ve gotten to work with are the various trailers and TV spots that have been released. But now, thanks to Time Magazine, we’ve got our first clip to look at.

It’s an interesting clip, and one that gives a strong sense at the kind of morality and commentary that Nolan wants to tell with this story. The British director has often shown great fondness for using the larger-than-life premises of his film as metaphors for much more real-world ideas.

Interstellar arrives in theaters next week, on November 5. It’ll feature the acting talents of Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Wes Bentley, Michael Caine, and many more.
