While we may not yet know much about the role Evangeline Lilly is playing in Marvel’s Ant-Man, we at least now have somewhat of an idea what she’ll look like. Known for her long locks, which she has sported in most of her well-known work (projects like Lost and The Hobbit), Lilly revealed her new look on Instagram. She also dropped a major hint about her character (more on that later).

As for the rumors surrounding her role, it’s long been thought that she could be playing The Wasp. Well, the actress has now revealed that her character’s name is Hope Van Dyne. That’s right, very similar to Jane Van Dyne- the original Wasp! Draw your own conclusions, but it’s possible she’s Jane’s daughter who ends up taking the Wasp mantle- just as Paul Rudd will play the new Ant-Man to Michael Douglas’s original.
