Gal Gadot in Talks for Female Lead in ‘Ben-Hur’

Gal Gadot may showcase her new Amazonian figure in another film besides as Wonder Woman.

The Hollywood Reporter claims the actress is in early talks for the female lead role in the remake of “Ben-Hur.”

The cast already includes Jack Huston as the Jewish prince along with Toby Kebbell and Morgan Freeman.

If she signs on, Gadot will play Esther, a slave who falls in love with Ben-Hur.

Timur Bekmambetov is directing the movie, which is the remake of the 1959 movie with Charlton Heston. Keith Clarke wrote the original script and rewrite credits goes to John Ridley.

It is expected the production to begin shooting early next year for a February 2016 release date.
