Gotham Finale Trailer Looks To Leave Us With A Dark Knight

https://youtu.be/XNFRMXOPoCU

I will not lie to you. I have only seen three episodes of Gotham. I wasn’t a big fan of the idea of it when it started, but then again I am also not a big Batman fan. Don’t hate me!!! I don’t hate Batman, I actually like Keaton’s take and TDK of course, but I don’t like the character enough to watch a five-year-long prequel show. That being said, I do keep well read on the matters of geekdom.

The season, and series, finale of Gotham hits next week on the 25th, and that’s unfortunate as Avengers: Endgame will be having its preview night screenings. I wouldn’t be surprised if this episode has some of the lowest ratings simply because of that fact. It will be heavily DVR’d though for certain.

This new trailer shows us how the stories are being wrapped up including shots of young Bruce Wayne in a more traditional looking Batman costume with the pointed ears protruding off the top of the mask. This is as opposed to the pointed ears on the side of his mask that we’ve been seeing. We also hear him give his best rendition of the Christain Bale Batman growl. They better show the Bat and not cheat us as they did on Smallville.

We also see several villains including Jeremiah who may finally be called Joker. Honestly, I wonder how dumb WB thinks fans are that they couldn’t comprehend a TV Joker as being different from the movies. Think about the fact they went with the Leto style Joker in Suicide Squad. If they weren’t afraid that would tarnish the character then they shouldn’t fear this version.
