Has Gotham City Sirens Found Its Catwoman? It’s A Stretch, But Possible

You can always trust the users of Reddit to shove on the tin foil hats at the slightest provocation, but that doesn’t mean they’re necessarily wrong when it comes to some speculation. This latest bit is regarding the upcoming Gotham City Sirens film, which is set to bring back Margot Robbie Harley Quinn in a leading role — and Suicide Squad director David Ayer to the helm.

The eagle-eyed Redditor Batwing4eva recently noticed that Ayer has followed actress Eiza Gonzalez Reyna (From Dusk till Dawn: The Series) on Twitter. Furthermore, the stalking got to an uncomfortable level when he recognized that the actress had cut her hair, and posted a photo to instagram. That hair, he noticed, looked an awful lot like one particular interpretation of Selina Kyle.

So do we buy it? It’s definitely a huuuuuge stretch. Yes, it’s possible that Ayer following her could be a result of meetings regarding the role, but the haircut is kind of out of left field. It’s not like the film is shooting any time soon. In fact, we’ve have had no updates on the project in a while, and some even question that Ayer will be back in the saddle for DC at all, let alone for Gotham City Sirens.

We’d file this one under a “we’ll see,” but it mostly has to do with the overall look of the actress and the follow on than anything else.

Thoughts? Do you think she’d make a good Selina Kyle?
