HBO’s Michael Crichton Series ‘Westworld’ Gets A Teaser

HBO is getting ready to launch a new series in 2016, based on Michael Crichton’s book/film Westworld. The series is set to be to be a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin. The one-hour drama series is inspired by the film of the same name, written and directed by Michael Crichton back in 1973. Crichton’s work was also recently mined when Universal Pictures released Jurassic World in June.

As usual, HBO was able to pull together a stellar cast of actors that include Anthony Hopkins, James Marsden, Evan Rachel Wood, Rodrigo Santoro, Thandie Newton, and Ed Harris. The series was created Jonathan Nolan (Interstellar), alongside executive producers J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk.

Westworld is coming to HBO in 2016.
