Happy Star Wars Day!  Since the early 1980’s Star Wars fans have celebrated May 4th every year as Star Wars Day.  It wasn’t until 2011 when there was an official acknowledgement by various organizations and fans that May 4th would be known as May The 4th Be With You aka Star Wars Day.   The following year fans of the Dark Side and Empire made May 5th their celebration day known as Revenge of the Fifth in honor of the third episode of the Star Wars franchise Revenge of the Sith.  Every year since 2011 the day has grown in popularity among fans and retail outlets that have Star Wars merchandise.  Below are how some different outlets are celebrating Star Wars Day.  

Television

TBS– From 6:40 AM- 11:00 PM EST TBS will be showing the original six movies all day long with limited commercial interruptions. Listed below is the schedule of when the movies will be airing on TBS.

·         6:40 AM- 9:26 AM Episode I “The Phantom Menace”

·         9:26 AM- 12:20 PM Episode II “Attack of the Clones”

·         12:20 PM- 3:12 PM Episode III “Revenge of the Sith”
