Interview with Liam Mulvey, Andrea Tivadar and Director Takeshi Nozue for KINGSGLAIVE: FINAL FANTASY XV

The worlds of video games and animated films are merging even closer for the Final Fantasy Franchise.

The animated film KINGSGLAIVE: FINAL FANTASY XV is set to parallel the upcoming video game FINAL FANTASY XV, which is scheduled for a worldwide release on September 30 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The film features voice talent of Aaron Paul (BREAKING BAD), Lena Headey (GAME OF THRONES) and Sean Bean (THE LORD OF THE RINGS).

The story follows King Regis (Bean) as he attempts to save the city of Insomnia from the empire of Niflheim with an elite group of soldiers called the Kingsglaive and led by Nyx Ulric (Paul).

The animated film will be released in select movie theaters on August 19. The Blu-ray, DVD and digital release will soon follow on August 30.

The Blu-ray, DVD and digital release will feature four behind-the-scenes featurettes that will reveal the CG technology for the film and the recording booth with the actors.

Before the film’s presentation at last month’s San Diego Comic-Con International, LRM caught up with two motion capture/voice actors Liam Mulvey and Andrea Tivadar for an exclusive sit-down interview. In addition, Final Fantasy-famed director Takeshi Nozue was available to speak with LRM through a translator.
