Amidst all the reports that Shane Black has been tapped to reboot the Predator franchise, one little tidbit has been overshadowed:
The writer-director responsible for Iron Man 3 is also preparing an adaptation of Doc Savage, and he’s said to be interested in casting Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth, as the classic character.
The Hollywood Reporter mentioned, in passing, that Black has met with Hemsworth about the film- which is considered a priority for Sony. There’s no word on how the meeting met, but this would be a high-profile “get” for the film, since Hemsworth is one of the faces of Marvel’s white-hot Avengers films.
Doc Savage’s real name was Clark Savage, Jr. He was a physician, surgeon, scientist, adventurer, inventor, explorer, researcher, and […] a musician. A team of scientists assembled by his father deliberately trained his mind and body to near-superhuman abilities almost from birth, giving him great strength and endurance, a photographic memory, a mastery of the martial arts, and vast knowledge of the sciences. Doc is also a master of disguise and an excellent imitator of voices.

What do you think? Would Hemsworth be a good choice for this?
