While the Christopher McQuarrie-directed Jack Reacher didn't exactly set the world on fire with its 2012 release, the film did more than well enough to justify a sequel. Tom Cruise was well on his way back to be the big star he once was, and those who had actually taken the time to see the film generally liked what they had to see. The film may have been a generic thriller, but at the end of the day, it was a well done generic thriller.
Now, Tom Cruise returns in the sequel, entitled Jack Reacher: Never Go Back. In the director's chair this time is The Last Samurai helmer Edward Zwick. While I don't expect a whole lot out of this film by virtue of the source material, seeing Zwick and Cruise work together once again is something that's worth seeing.
Paramount has released a new poster for the film. It's nothing special, but for those looking forward to it, it may offer a little bit of excitement.
