James Bobin to Helm ‘23 JUMP STREET/MEN IN BLACK’ Movie

Yes, it is still happening.

There will be a crossover with 23 JUMP STREET/MEN IN BLACK films as rumored from the Sony e-mail hacks over a year ago.

The studio brought in director James Bobin to make this action comedy a reality. Bobin directed THE MUPPETS and THE FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS.

It’s expected Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum will reprise their roles as the buddy cop duo in the Jump Street operation. On the other hand, there are hints that younger MIB agents will join the cops as Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones will not return.

As ridiculous as it may sound, Sony is willing to roll the dice on this ambitious project. So serious that the studio is marking a production start date this June.
