Jason Momoa Says Aquaman And Superman “Crossed Paths” In Man Of Steel

That’s right, Aquaman was in Man of Steel and you didn’t even know it! If you believe Jason Momoa, who plays Aquaman in this week’s Justice League, and what Man of Steel /Justice League director Zack Snyder told him.

ComicBook.com found the following quote from Momoa on DC All Access, where Momoa lets us all know that Aquaman was secretly helping Superman in Man of Steel, even if it will not be addressed in Justice League:

“I’ll give you a cool little thing that’s not in this movie, but what Zack told me his idea for what he was doing for Aquaman. In Man of Steel, when Henry [Cavill] is saving, on the oil rig, he’s holding that up. And all the sudden you just see him, he kinda floats up on the ocean.”

“[Snyder]’s like, ‘I had Aquaman save him, so that they did cross paths at one point.’ So when Bruce goes, ‘Have you heard of [Superman]?’ I’m like, I have. We have crossed paths.”

Well, it’s not in the movie, so there is no line about crossing paths? I’m a little confused.

Still, it is a cool idea none-the-less, even if it seems like Synder is reaching a bit in order to to retcon Man of Steel to more closely incorporate it into the world of Justice League.

Justice League is in theaters this Friday, November 17, 2017.
