When it rains Spider-Man news, it pours Spider-Man news. The last 48 hours have seen the good (MCU/Sony deal for a third Spidey film), the bad (the rumor that third film will see Spidey leave the MCU), and the ugly (making a Madame Web movie) from the world of Spider-Man. Now comes the comforting news that Homecoming and Far From Home director, Jon Watts, is in talks to return for the third MCU/Spider-Man film. Most people assumed this was set in stone, but remember that the original Sony and Marvel deal only covered two solo films and three crossovers.

This should please most fans considering how well the last two solo Web-Head films were received. Far From Home is the highest-grossing Spider-Man film ever with more than $1.1 billion worldwide. Watts seems to have a great relationship with Peter Parker himself, Tom Holland, and works well with Marvel head, Kevin Feige. Seeing this continue into the third, and possibly last, Spider-Man film is surely to be desired by most fans.
