Justice League: Ben Affleck On Why This Film Was More Fun Than Batman v Superman

In the upcoming Justice League film, actor Ben Affleck is donning the cape and cowl for his third time. The first was with Batman v Superman, and the second was Suicide Squad. In Batman v Superman, while he did ultimately come together with the likes of Wonder Woman and Superman, he spent a good portion of the film either by himself or with his ol’ pal Alfred. In Justice League, he’ll have a lot more human interaction going on.

Speaking with Access Hollywood, star Affleck discussed that this interaction is part of what made shooting Justice League a whole lot more fun than Batman v Superman.

“Everybody got along and I think it comes across in the movie. You see the camaraderie of this group. You root for them to come together and a part of that is we all genuinely like each other and had complementary personalities and skillsets as these heroes and that was just a lot of fun. It was much more fun than the last movie because I had all these people to play with.”

Indeed if there’s something to look forward to here that we didn’t see much of in Batman v Superman, it’s the chemistry between the group. As a team-up film, we can certainly hope that the interaction between the group is what they focus on to really sell audiences on the dynamic.

From the sound of it, they had a blast on set, and if that manages to bleed over into the film, it’ll be great for Justice League fans.

Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017.
