Justice League: The Flash Is The Collective Favorite In Test Screenings

Words can’t express how much we want the Justice League film to be good. With so much negative momentum coming from fans who dislike Zack Snyder — and from those who felt cheated by Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad — it’ll be an uphill battle since there will be plenty of people who go into the movie wanting to hate it.

Thus far, there has been fairly positive buzz surrounding the film, thanks to the screenings Warner Bros. conducted for the film (at least from the few who were willing to say something anonymously). Well, it turns out that’s not the only info we have. Chris Sylvia of Regal Entertainment Group posted a tweet that stated that Ezra Miller’s Flash is “the collective favorite coming out of Justice League.” Just a heads-up, this tweet was recently taken down by the poster, so while we still have the link and quote, the actual tweet is no longer out there.

Honestly, this isn’t the biggest surprise. Based on what we’ve seen in the trailers so far, The Flash comes across as a much-needed reality check for the rest of the League. Despite the fact that Flash has superhuman speed, he very much feels like the everyman that’s easier to relate to than anyone else on the team — which consists of two god-types, one alien, one cyborg, and one rich dude. Go figure that the guy who had a pretty standard life prior to getting his abilities in an incredible Marvel fashion would be the one fans clicked with the most.

We’re glad to hear that the out-of-left-field casting decision of Ezra Miller seems to be working out in favor of the film. Furthermore, it’s great to hear all the positive hype surrounding the film in general. Of course, we have to take into account that these are merely early test screenings. Screenings like this tend to have a positive slant merely because audiences are excited to be seeing a film early.

The synopsis for Justice League is below:

“Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s (Henry Cavill) selfless act, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash — it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.”
