Kang’s Differences In Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania Vs Loki: Jonathan Majors On His Character

According to the latest Barside Buzz, He Who Remains will return in Loki Season 2.

Jonathan Majors is currently working on his role in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. He starred as He Who Remains in the last episode in the Marvel series, Loki. It was so surprising how is behavior was just so casual and excited for someone trapped at the end of time. He knew what was going to happen and he’s really looking forward to getting his plan started. Like he said, he “paved the way” for Loki and Sylvie to get to him. We already know that He Who Remains is Kang The Conqueror and if you didn’t know, well you do now. In an interview with GamesRadar+, Majors talks about his experience in the third Ant-Man movie and how Kang will be different in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Time Changes Everything

Majors was asked about how his experience on Loki compared with Ant-Man. He said:

I felt pretty loose and free on the Loki set! The MCU and all the powers-that-be are just so open-hearted.

The character is different so you move a different way; my psychology has shifted because of the character. He’s just a different guy. He Who Remains is not in Ant-Man. It’s Kang. But the people surrounding us – the cast, my leading man Paul Rudd – that’s different. Because Paul’s not Tom [Hiddleston]. This is a movie, not a TV show. I’ve been here since the beginning and I came in at the end on Loki.

Majors also discussed his role in Netflix’s The Harder They Fall. My son played Marvel Super Heroes 2 so much that I didn’t think I would ever look forward to seeing Kang on screen. Kang never shuts up and my kid just runs around doing little little things around Chronopolis. But Jonathan Majors’ fantastic acting changed my mind. I loved his take on He Who Remains and I’m looking forward to seeing him as Kang. I’m also excited to see what director, Peyton Reed, will do with him in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The movie will be released on July 28, 2023.

Are you looking forward to seeing a different Kang in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania? Let me know in the comments.
